Project Manager

Designing and managing custom residential projects starting from approved initial design sketches from the Principal Architect, through Design Development stages, Construction Documents and Permit Submissions, and ending with the construction process and final walk-through prior to CO (Certificate of Occupancy)  

Managerial Accomplishments & Responsibilities:

- Set and balance overall timeline of each project.

- Obtain, review and oversee all sub-contractors relating to each project (Structural Engineers, MEP Engineers, Landscape Architects, Surveyors, Civil Engineers, Interior Designers, Lighting Consultants and builders).

- Coach and instruct new employees on office procedures, expectations and project execution 

Hands-On Accomplishments & Responsibilities:

- Design and Develop multimillion dollar custom homes based on approved sketches from Principal Architect (massing and site review, exterior and interior elevations, ceiling and interior design).

- Produce 3D digital models, photorealistic renderings and animations of commercial and residential projects for design review and marketing purposes (AutoCAD, 3DS Max, VRay and Photoshop along with use of drone for aerial imagery)

- Create Construction Documents by implementing design objectives and coordinating all engineering and consultant’s specifications and details.

- Perform meetings with clients and sub-contractors.

- Attend and perform Construction Administration (CA) services.

- Review and detail all shop drawings (custom railing, window/doors, architectural profiles, etc.).

- Create initial site analysis and code research for new projects/clients.

- Assist in creation of marketing materials (brochures, banners, post cards, magazine articles and conference room décor).


Reflective Rendering - Cape Coral, FL  8/04 – present 

President

Established an architectural marketing firm that provides services to architects, land developers, builders and realtors. Main services are architectural renderings & animations, brochure/graphics design and interactive sales tools for their website and sales centers. 

Managerial Accomplishments & Responsibilities:

- Managed and created all marketing/advertising such as web design, publications and tradeshows 

- Successfully hired, directed and managed contractors and employees to produce time sensitive services 

- Handled financial forecasts and budgets for all aspects of the company

- Estimated project timelines; created proposals and contracts; and tactfully maintained client relationships 

- Performed case studies on each project to evaluate proposed estimates vs. actual

- Used self-taught skills to create captivating, photorealistic 3D renderings and animations by using the same sophisticated technology used in movies such as King Kong, Spider Man, Ice Age, and many more

Otto Bock Health Care - Cape Coral, FL  2/09 – 3/11 

Sales & Market Manager – Consulting & Equipping Division

Managed and oversaw US operations for the Consulting and Equipping Division for Orthopedic Facilities. Otto Bock Health Care is the world’s largest and most prominent supplier for prosthetic components. Consulting services include design of orthopedic facilities as well as sales for equipment involved in creation of orthopedic components.
Managerial Accomplishments & Responsibilities:

- Developed and established marketing campaigns which resulted in a 200% increase in sales for 2009 & 2010 

- Created proposals and contracts; and tactfully maintained client relationships; Clients included U.S. Dept. of VA, U.S. DOD (Dept of Defense) and private facilities across the U.S.

- Oversaw all aspects of each project: including sales meetings, contract executions, project timelines, design of facilities, budget estimates, installation of equipment, training of personnel and quality control 

- Directed and implemented marketing concepts and themes for national/local tradeshows and conferences

- Evaluated P&L statistics on portfolio of equipment and arranged new contracts with suppliers which ultimately increased profit margins and decreased sales prices

- Coached and instructed Sales Representatives on division goals, processes, costs and sales techniques

Hands-On Accomplishments & Responsibilities:

- Designed 10 Orthopedic facilities for clients across the U.S.

- Engineered and built 3 fully functional mobile prosthetic labs; one of which went to Haiti for humanitarian relief

- Created and distributed internal and external reports, literature, sales documents, and newsletters linking sales representatives and clients to upper level management

- Conducted onsite visits to increase sales and customer awareness as well as provide consultation on Health and Safety issues relating to their work practice

- Provided presentations at national conferences linking educational information into quantitative sales 


Siemens Westinghouse - Orlando, FL   1/02 – 6/04

Field Service Engineer

Employed directly out of college into the corporate giant where main duties required traveling to Nuclear Power Plants across the nation to perform unique and plant-specific tasks. Power Outages are when the plants “power down” to allow maintenance and service on equipment. Field Engineers direct and manage these projects which run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (through holidays) until the project is completed. Common shift hours were around 13-15 hours a day, and the outages lasted from 2 weeks to 4 months, depending on the scope of work.

Susquehanna Nuclear Power Plant (Unit 1) – High Pressure Turbine Task Manager

- Directed and supervised a labor force of over 40 mechanics, technicians, and machinist on a $125 million turbine retrofit project, which included new rotors and internal components

- Determined daily work, created and updated the schedule, created the work packages and ensured compliance, and organized safety procedures

- Developed strategic and operational plans for the work group, managed execution, and measured the results

- Oversaw all floor activities related to electrical requirements, disassembly/reassembly of high pressure turbine, critical measurements and clearances, precise machining, and logistics

- Acted as liaison between the customer, workforce, and engineers in district offices to provide correct execution of scope of work

Sequoyah Nuclear Plant – Floor Engineer for Major Turbine Inspections

- Directed and supervised millwrights, contract labor supervisors, and turbine bladders in major inspection on Low Pressure Turbine rotating and stationary components

- Determined daily work, created and updated scheduling, created work packages and ensured compliance, and organized safety procedures

- Assisted and coordinated with TVA plant personnel to ensure that the proper parts, tools and consumables were acquired for the outage

Susquehanna Nuclear Power Plan (Unit 2) – Logistics Task Manager 

- Coordinated transportation of 2 ½ million lbs worth of components from Germany to plant

- Determined the power requirements for the project and directed implementation

- Created laydown of plant (AutoCAD) after examining floor loading and component clearances

- Calculated all rigging for the new components

- Supervised millwrights and technicians throughout the project to assure correct execution
